Debra Scacco's Laboratory For the Future
Art exhibit attendees will see work inspired by water, waste and urban ecology, including sculptural interpretations of Santa Monica’s water pathways, sculptures made with Santa Monica water well excavation clay and powerful portraits of often-unseen essential workers. The exhibit is free and open to the public and runs through Sunday, Jan. 4, 2026. Gallery hours are Thurs-Sun, noon-5 p.m.
“Laboratory for the Future” is a project of City Yards Artist in Residence Debra Scacco and is made possible by the city of Santa Monica Recreation and Arts Department Cultural Affairs Division, Public Works Department, and Percent for Art program. More about the project here.
