Opportunities to Submit Your Work & Apply for Grants

Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo) invites artists to propose three images for a temporary public art installation at our main facility. Through this call for art we aim to offer a simple submission process for incisive, surprising, and unique imagery that will enliven the East Avenue neighborhood. Of particular interest are projects that connect visitors to the location, community and/or history of the neighborhood, challenge visitors and passersby, and address important social and political issues. RoCo welcomes visual artists of all genres. RoCo also invites visual artists to collaborate with literary artists as we have previously shown in this location.

As part of the City of Glendale’s initiative to become a
prime arts and culture destination, up to ten long-term to
permanent artwork installations will be commissioned,
developed and established over the course of the next
few years. These landmark installations will be
strategically placed throughout the City in locations that
focus on public accessibility and encourage public
engagement and interactivity.

The Sasse Museum of Art invites artists worldwide to submit works exploring the urban experience through their unique creative lens. Cities pulse with life, contradiction, and endless stories—from towering skylines that pierce the heavens to intimate street corners where human dramas unfold daily.

This juried exhibition seeks submissions that capture the multifaceted nature of urban environments: their beauty and decay, their energy and solitude, their grand architecture and forgotten details.

Meiners Oaks Parks 501(c)3 (MOP), an all-volunteer nonprofit organization is developing an abandoned commercial property into a vibrant 2-acre nature-focused park in the community of Meiners Oaks located in the Ojai Valley.  The MOP invites professional and emerging artists or artist teams to submit qualifications for the design and creation of sculptural artwork that inspires connection between art, nature, community, and play.
